HCS SCS SB 769 -- FISCAL AND OTHER AUTHORIZATIONS FOR CERTAIN
SCHOOL DISTRICTS

This bill allows the Puxico R-VIII, Valley R-VI, Bismarck R-V,
and Caruthersville R-XVIII school districts to make a one-time
additional transfer from the incidental fund to the capital
projects fund in an amount not to exceed 40% of the district's
June 30, 2006, incidental fund.  The transfer must occur by
July 1, 2007.

Any school district affected by the April 2006 tornadoes may be
exempted from making up its lost school time according to a
sliding scale specified in the bill and is allowed to use the
summer school food service standards while running double
sessions.

The bill contains an emergency clause.
